| Where We Were Major Motion Cycling Club (MMCC) started with a few recreational riders meeting for a Sunday ride from Liemert Park in 1975. It evolved into a bunch of competitive riders who trained together on Saturdays and raced on Sundays. |
Where We Are Today MMCC is a recognized club of the United States Cycling Federation and are active participants in California Bicycle Racing. Our members, consisting of varying abilities, engage in activities that encompass the entire range of the sport of cycling. You will see our riders training on the roads of Southern California and/or on the wooden track surface of America's only indoor velodrome at the Home Depot Center Complex. From the heart throbbing, adrenaline pumping action of racing to long distance, endurance and recreational fun and fitness rides, we are there. Major Motion Cycling Club is a very diverse group of adults that have bonded together to form a family of semi-professional and aficionados to the sport of cycling. Although we are mainly a racing club, we welcome all riders who share our passion for riding a bicycle. We have regular training sessions and group rides to sharpen and improve our riding skills. We also have several riders and racers with extensive knowledge of the sport who are always available with plenty of good advice for the novice and less experienced riders. We actively support and promote the sport of cycling and if you feel the same way, we welcome you to join us on our next training ride. |
